CSC Now Compressing 835 and 835S Files Listed on Emdny Exchange

- UPDATE (10-09-06): To save space and downloading time, CSC will now compress the 835 and 835S files listed in your Emedny Exchange box into the "TAR" Format. In order To open "TAR" files you will need to download a utility program that can un-compress "TAR" files. You can use a freeware zip utility such as 7-Zip or a commercial zip utility such as winzip. You can download the freeware version of 7-Zip Here. You can download an evaluation version of winzip Here. Once you have installed the utility and opened the TAR file, you can then extract the 835 or 835S files and place them in your normal folder and load them into PC-MTR as usual.

- The 835 is a "Digital Version" of the paper remittance and is returned to you in your eMedNY/eXchange inbox. By signing up with CSC to get digital remittances, you will receive the digital file 2-3 weeks BEFORE the paper copy would be received in the mail. You can then import the digital remittance into our software and print it to paper if you choose, or export it out to a file that can be read into other programs.
- This demo provides sample 997 and 835 files only and will not load your actual 997 and 835 files until the program is purchased/registered.
- In order to use the 835 "Digital Version" you must fill out a request form with CSC found at the following Click Here link. PLEASE BE ADVISED: Once you complete and submit this form you will then receive your remittances in your eMedNY eXchange inbox and not on paper.
NOTE: Be sure to put a check in the checkbox contained in item #4 on the form. This will insure that you still will receive an electronic remit even if you submit your claims on paper. Click Here to view the form.
